Irish born Aoife is a classically trained Soprano whose extensive performances have taken her worldwide.

She graduated from a Masters in Opera Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, with a First-class honours BA degree in Music Performance.

Aoife has taken the lead performances in many great opera works in the UK, Ireland and overseas. She was also awarded the Cuisine de France Count John McCormack Bursary, was an NI Opera Festival of Voice Finalist in 2015 and a finalist in RWCMD’s Ian Stoutzker prize for Outstanding Musician.

A love of teaching and performance led Aoife to roles as a singing teacher and animateur for many years, a role which combines teaching, conducting, and performance. Most recently she worked with Norwich Theatre Royal on their School’s Opera Project.

Combining her busy performance schedule with involvement in Rock Up and Sing!, Aoife brings her considerable experience to ad hoc rehearsals across all the choirs and sectional voice rehearsals.
