Andrew’s passion for vocal music started after joining the prestigious St Aidan’s Chamber Choir in Harrogate at the age of 14.
He was a founder member of an award-winning small vocal group and went on to study Music and Fine Art at Liverpool Hope University where he specialised in vocal performance.During this time Andrew sang with the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Choir and was employed as vocal specialist at St Edwards College.
He graduated with first class honours and went on to teach voice both privately and in schools, as well as being the vocal specialist teacher at Stagecoach, Harrogate.
Andrew has worked with many groups involved in staging works at local venues, on tour and at places such as Her Majesties’ Theatre in the West End to the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
Andrew later trained as a classroom music teacher and worked as a Music Teacher at Prince Henry’s Grammar School and is currently Head of Academic Music at Ashville, Harrogate. Andrew conducts the Wednesday evening choir in Harrogate, and assists Rhiannon during mass concerts and with ad hoc rehearsals for the other choirs.
